1157 LED BULB - DUAL INTENSITY 21 SMD LEDS

LUMA LEDs 1157 LED bulbs are engineered to be direct replacements for traditional bulbs, and install easily into original factory light sockets. Designed for 12V vehicles, this LED bulb uses 21 SMD LEDs to produce a brilliant 540 lumen, which increases the output of your vehicles lights, for added safety and style. When used as an LED bulb for cars, it replaces the old dual filament incandescent bulbs for tail lights, turn signals, and brake lights.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT LED: The LED light color should be the same as the lens color. Ex. If the lens is red, choose an LED with red light color. If lens is clear, use the correct color required light functions.

REPLACEMENT BULB FOR: 94, 1034, 1076, 1142, 1178, 1196, 2057, 2357, 2397, 3496, 7225, 7528

FEATURES

  • 3 Year Warranty
  • 50,000+ hour LED lifespan compared to 2,000 hours for incandescent bulbs, which is 25x longer life.
  • Faster illumination Of 0.2 seconds is 10x faster than incandescent bulbs, providing 25 additional feet of braking distance at 60mph.
  • Use 1/10 the energy of traditional bulbs without getting hot. Putting less strain on the electrical system, resulting in less maintenance.
  • Direct replacement with easy installation into original factory light sockets

IMPORTANT NOTE: Consult owners manual for correct bulb type and installation procedures.

TROUBLE SHOOT:

  • This bulb is polarized. If installed incorrectly, the bulb will not light. Flip the connector and attach to the bulb.
  • If hyper-flash occurs, vehicle may require an LED compatible Flasher or Load Resistor. LED brake and tail lamps will not flash with most stock flashers due to the LEDs low current draw.

  • What is an LED, and what makes them better than incandescent bulbs? When electrical current is applied, an LED (light emitting diode) will project light from a semiconductor chip mounted on a circuit board. This provides a much more efficient means of light generation with little heat, over that of incandescent, halogen and xenon bulbs. LEDs typically generate 70+ lumens per watt, which shadows the output of incandescents at 15, and xenons at 20-25 lumens per watt.

LUMA LEDs offers a wide range of replacement LED bulbs, as well as vehicle centric LED lighting for off road applications. This includes LED work lights, LED light bars, and accessories such as wiring harnesses, brackets and clamps. Applications include powersports and off road vehicles, agricultural and industrial vehicles, commecial and fleet vehicles, boats, RV's, campers, and safety vehicles.
